Day-to-day Itinerary

Day 1:Arrive in Cairo

Your tour manager will meet you at Cairo International Airport when you arrive in Egypt for your Nile Cruise and Stay in Hurghada vacation package. They will then take you to the hotel where you will stay during the Cairo part of your trip. We only book our clients into 5-Star or 4-Star hotels, with a few exceptions in more remote parts of Egypt where such hotels might not exist. This ensures that you will be comfortable.

When you get to the hotel, your tour manager will check you in. Then, they will talk to you about your travel plans and confirm the times you will be picked up for your following tours. After this, you’ll be left alone to do whatever you want for the rest of the day.

Night Stay In Cairo

Day 2:Giza Plateau, Sakkara Necropolis, and Memphis Tour

After breakfast, you will be picked up at the agreed-upon time and taken to see the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple, which are all in the same ancient cemetery.

After your tour of the Giza Plateau, you will be taken to an excellent local restaurant for lunch. Then, you will go to the Sakkara necropolis to see more pyramids, including the Djoser Step Pyramid, the first pyramid ever built in Egypt.

After you’re done in Sakkara, you’ll go to Memphis, the capital of the Old Kingdom. You’ll also have time to look around the old cemetery and be driven back to your hotel.

Night Stay In Cairo

Day 3:Cairo Day Tour and Overnight Sleeper Train to Aswan

After breakfast, you’ll leave your hotel and be taken to the Egyptian Museum by your tour guide. This museum has the most extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts in the world, and everything is found in King Tutankhamun’s tomb in Luxor. These artifacts are on display in a room called the “Treasures Room” that is set aside just for them. You can also visit the Mummies Room at the museum, but you’ll need to buy a ticket there.

After you go to the museum, you’ll go to an excellent local restaurant for lunch, then to the Cairo Citadel and the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque.

Next, you’ll go to Coptic Cairo to see the Hanging Church of Cairo and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Your tour will end with a stop at the famous Khan el Khalili Bazaar, which has been around for hundreds of years.

In the evening, you’ll be driven to the Giza Railway Station and put on a sleeper train to Aswan. The next part of your trip to Egypt will be a cruise down the Nile to Luxor, which you’ll never forget.

Day 4:Aswan Sightseeing Tour

Enjoy your breakfast on the train. upon arrival to Aswan Train Station, our tour guide will meet you and take you to visit three famous landmarks in Aswan: the Aswan High Dam, the ancient Temple of Philae, and the vast unfinished Obelisk.

After your tour, return to your hotel for overnight.

Day 5:Abu Simbel Temples Tour

You’ll start your day early with a breakfast box at 4:30 am. You will board a modern air-conditioned vehicle for the excursion to the magnificent Ramses II temples at Abu Simbel, which usually takes around 3.5 hours.

After the tour, you will return to your Nile cruise.

Note: If you prefer to upgrade to a flight from Aswan to Abu Simbel, please let us know, as flights are subject to availability. A small additional fee is charged for upgrades.

Day 6:Sail to Kom Ombo Temple and Horus Temple

Today, you will have breakfast on board the cruise ship as it sails up the Nile to Kom Ombo. Our tour guide will take you to the magnificent Kom Ombo Temple, which was built for two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Heroes, the falcon-headed god. When you finish the temple, you will return to the cruise ship and have lunch while sailing to Edfu to see the Temple of Horus.

This is the most well-preserved ancient temple in Egypt and is also known as the Temple of Horus. After this tour, you’ll return to the cruise ship in time for afternoon tea, and then the boat will sail back to Esna. Your cruise ship will spend the night in Esna, so you’ll also pay for the night on your Nile cruise there.

Day 7:Sail to Luxor with West Bank Tour

Start your day with a delicious breakfast as the cruise ship sails along the Nile to Luxor. Once the boat arrives, our tour guide will take you to the West Bank of Luxor to see three excellent archaeological sites. Your first stop will be the Valley of the Kings, an ancient royal necropolis where more than 60 tombs have been found, including the tomb of Tutankhamun, which was found in 1922 and is still sealed and in good condition.

From here, our guide will take you to see the stunning tomb of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built in the 15th century BC by the same people who made the tombs in the Valley of the Kings.

Your last stop for the day will be the Colossi of Memnon, which you’ll see on your way back to your cruise ship. On this night of your cruise, you will be staying in Luxor on the Nile.

Day 8:Cruise Disembarkation; East Bank Tour and Transfer to Hurghada

Your cruise has ended along the Nile, so after a good breakfast on board the cruise ship, you will disembark and transfer to the east bank of Luxor to see two great archaeological sites: the Karnak temple complex and the well-preserved Luxor temple.

After you tour the East Bank of Luxor, you will be transferred to Hurghada for your stay there. The trip to Hurghada takes about three and a half hours. When you arrive in Hurghada, our tour guide will take you directly to the hotel where you will stay for the next three nights.

Day 9 and 10:Hurghada Leisure Time and Optional Excursions

Your trip down the Nile and your stay in Hurghada do not revolve around sightseeing, so these two days are dedicated to relaxing without worries on Egypt’s beautiful coast on the Red Sea. If you’d prefer to do something else, you can arrange for snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, deep-sea fishing, and more. Our tour representative, who will also be in Hurghada, will be happy to assist you with anything you need.

Day 11:Back to Cairo

Enjoy a good breakfast at your hotel each day, and then you will have time to yourself again. Later that day, at a time that you and our flight representative have agreed upon, he will meet you at the hotel and help you check out. After that, he will take you to the central bus station, where a first-class air-conditioned bus will take you to Cairo. This trip usually takes 6 hours.

When your bus arrives in Cairo, your tour guide will meet you and take you to the hotel where you will spend the last night of your trip to Egypt.

Day 12: Final Departure

Start the day with another good breakfast. Your flight manager will get you to the hotel at the right time, help you check out, and then take you to Cairo International Airport for your flight out of Egypt.

Now that your Nile cruise trip and stay in Hurghada are over, we will bid you farewell and wish you a safe and happy journey back home.

  • Prices are listed in US dollars per person, per trip, and payments can be made in any currency.
  • Please note that rates may change if there are adjustments to airport taxes, hotel fees, transportation costs, or government taxes.

Tipping in Egypt

Tipping is not included in any of our packages and is entirely at the discretion of our travelers. While it is not mandatory, it is greatly appreciated by the team members who work hard to ensure you have an excellent travel experience.

Extra Expenses

Additional personal expenses during your trip may include food tours, alcoholic beverages, tipping, visa fees, recreational activities, and any services not mentioned in the package.

Items that may incur extra costs during the trek include:

  • Any additional transportation you may require.

  • Tipping for your guide and driver at the end of the trip.

  • Costs resulting from unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather or flight cancellations, including extra hotel nights and meals.

Optional Visits & Entry Tickets

All our Egypt tour packages do not include entrance fees for special archaeological sites, such as entering the pyramids from the inside, the Mummies Room at the museum, or the Tutankhamun Tomb in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.

Booking Confirmation Policy

  • You will receive a confirmation voucher by email within 24 hours of completing your booking.
  • We require only a 25% down payment to secure your tour arrangements, including hotel rooms, cruise cabins, domestic flights, and other travel services. The remaining balance may be paid up to two days before your arrival or in cash upon arrival to your tour manager, ensuring a smooth and risk-free booking experience.

Cancellation Policy

  • More than 30 days before the tour start date: A cancellation fee of 10% of the total package price applies.

  • 30 to 20 days before the tour start date: A cancellation fee of 25% of the total package price applies.

  • 19 to 15 days before the tour start date: A cancellation fee of 50% of the total package price applies.

  • 14 to 11 days before the tour start date: A cancellation fee of 75% of the total package price applies.

  • 10 days or fewer before the tour start date: No refund will be issued.

  • Up to 2 years: Free of charge

  • Ages 2 to under 6 years: 25% of the adult rate

  • Ages 6 to under 11 years: 50% of the adult rate

  • Ages 12 and above: Full adult rate
